Are there any air filters and / or face masks that can cleanse indoor air, to the extent of even removing toxins and chemicals and producing only clean oxygen? I'm concerned about the lawn pesticides constantly being used around my home penetrating the household and contaminating the indoor air. Neighbors have refused to comply with wishes that they convert to an organic means of lawn care - hence, I need an indoor air filter of some sort capable of sifting out pesticides and others chemicals. Do any air filters with this ability exist? If so, please tell me the names of them.Are there any air filters or masks that can filter pesticides out of the air indoors?
You can never produce clean o2 no such thing unless you get a oxygen tank but its dangerous for you, you can get oxygen toxicity if you use it without any cause other than to get clean o2. Our air itself is filled with chemicals ex: pollution. Anyway, you should complain to department of health. For now get a air purifier see if it helps. i DON'T BELIEVE anything that would work would be affordable.......there are clean rooms in research labs..............cost a lot of money...............

the ones i have seen all refer to inside air problems; the source of your problem appears to be outside; are these folks your neighbors? Are you on talking terms with them? I don't know why they should be using pesticides on their lawn all the time creating the problem. It is not a good practice as it easily seeps into the ground %26amp; then into any ground water %26amp; into pipes etc; could you perhaps let them know it is causing you problems in your home, state your concerns, %26amp; then offer to check out green solutions that might be cheaper, more effective, %26amp; solve the situation for you. Especially with Earth day %26amp; all, everyone is looking for things other than chemicals! The hepa filters for in the home, always state: normal household problems; but you might check out consumer reports to see if there is one available that I am not sure of. Can expired C2 and C2A1 filters (m40 and MCU 2/p gas masks)protect against most biological attacks and teargas?
All i really want is protection against tear gas and most biological pathogens, but i have also read that because the C2 style filters use radioactive chromium as part of the filtering agent and using it would be more dangerous than going without a mask (due to the chromium's decomposition and or expiration), is it worth getting these older filters or splurging on the expensive ones (in which case i would have to hope for a an N.B.C attack as an excuse to use them)Can expired C2 and C2A1 filters (m40 and MCU 2/p gas masks)protect against most biological attacks and teargas?

If he must smoke inside (and he shouldn't, but...) check into getting a Trane Clean Effects air cleaner. Its attached to your air handler and it removes 99.98% of allergens from the filtered air. Since its attached to your air handler, all the air in your house is sucked through it and filtered. I have one in my home. While its pricey (around $1,400.00) its not something you have to change every month. It removes particles as small as .1 micron. How small is that? 20 million particles that size could fit into the period at the end of this sentence. No other filter is as strong. Its 1200 times stronger than the little air filters in your bedroom. It has worked amazingly well. We're talkin, I don't even have to dust anymore! Best of luck.

Nothing will fix the problem the way you want. Smoking is very dangerous. I am amazed you put up with it! Face masques will not do the trick.

The canister just absorbs the agent, it doesn't neutralize it. Once you get to your unit they will have TONS of training canisters that I'm sure they will have no problem giving you. Hell you can buy them on E-bay, just look for C2 or C2A1 canisters.Are gas masks filters safe?

Your NBC officer will tell you what you can and can't do with your protective mask and filters. There has not been a chemical attack on US forces since WWI. Well other than spraying Agent Orange on our own troops in Vietnam.
