Czech M10 gas mask filters?

Hi, I just got a Czech M10 gas mask and was wondering that if I took the filters out of the foil and used them a little bit, what can I do to store them so nothing bad gets into them or whatever happens to filters when they aren't sealed off?

the OM-10 NBC mask should be stored in dry conditions, filters removed, packed in original foil. once the NBC threat occurs, the filters are to be fitted into the mask and be ready for use. if you already opened them, store the mask in the its cover, and be sure you have an extra pair of packed filters to be ready to replace the used filters once the threat is imminent. use the opened ones for training purposes.





i think there are special training mockups of the filters, as well.
