Where can I get a Gas Mask and filter canisters for a reasonable price.?

I am thinking about getting some respiratory protection for these unpredictable times. the only place I know to look is ebay and they are asking ridiculous amounts for their gas masks, and the filters cost so much it is actually cheaper to buy another mask that comes with a filter. So where can I get some reasonably priced gas mask stuff preferably online, or in mid Michigan.Where can I get a Gas Mask and filter canisters for a reasonable price.?

The thing is, do you plan to carry it with you at all times? Because if not, then it really doesn't do you good while, say, you're at work and it's at home.





Even if you do keep it with you, the odds that you'd actually get warning that something nasty had been released in your vacinity in time to put it on are pretty small.
While you can find some stuff at the military surplus stores, you'd never catch me dead using that out-of-date trash. There's a reason that it's there -- it's unfit for use in a real-world situation. It's of no more value than as a Hollywood prop.
