What to do with a blank mask for Halloween party?

I am going to have a blank white mask with a robe that looks like a black sorcerers robe w/ hood. And I need a way to decorate the blank white mask with something terrifying but will still retain most of its whiteness so to say. [Ex. Have a red bloody tear streaming from one eyehole.] Please give me some horrifying, gruesome ideas.

I don't know... the blank white mask might work better than any specific decoration you could come up with.
