Your filter should just screw off, and there should only be one on either side. The valves for the mask are a different story. I'm not quite positive what you're asking, so if you need further help, please let me know. It's fairly easy to screw up the parts on your mask. How do i change my M17A2 gas mask filters?
The M17 series masks do not screw on or off. Remove the outside cap prying at the bottom and then open the mask and unbutton the cover flap. Remove and replace in opposite steps. Report Abuse
