Paper mache and plaster mask?

so im makeing a mask for our prom cause its a mascerade theme and i made a plaster mask the shape of my face BUT its to heavy so i was thinking of makeing it into paper mache and jus doing it from the mask i have cept i dont want it to stick to it are there any ideas on what i can do?Paper mache and plaster mask?
You can buy a plastic mask at a craft store and cover that with paper mache strips. It will slip off the plastic when dry and you can paint/decorate it.

You can also cover the plaster one you made with duct tape. Apply paper mache to that and when dry it will be easy to remove. Paper mache will not stick to duct tape.Paper mache and plaster mask?
possibly place saran-wrap over one, then apply paper mache, no need to make too thick, just a few layers, same with plaster, they did make them of ceramic and metals, and the paint to suit purpose for prom, you could also cut frame work out of bristol board, and apply paper mache, and there may be some masks at shops for halloween or birthday to use as template,
