What is the coolest/best goalie mask of all time?

Over the years, hockey fans have been treated to the most stunning artwork featured upon the masks of their favorite netminders. In your opinion, what is the best goalie mask you have ever had the pleasure to be visually seduced by? For me, one of my favorites would be the four incarnations of Sean Burke's mask dating back to 2001. That mask, subsequently altered during the final few stops in Burke's career (Phoenix, Philadelphia, Tampa Bay, and Los Angeles), featured Jimi Hendrix on one side, either Eric Clapton or Jimmy Page on the other, and a sexy woman hanging out with a Harley on the front. Gotta love the artists and their amazing visions. What is the coolest/best goalie mask of all time?
I loved Giguere's 03-04 helmet design, which was largely dominated by two large, wings on each side of the helmet that has a lot of different colors fading into each spectrum. It was so awesome I actually ended up drawing a vector illustration of it and making a whole lot of t-shirts with it.

And I hate to admit this, but I always thought Martin Brodeur's simple black, red, and white design looked really good. What is the coolest/best goalie mask of all time?
Oh yeah, Gerry Cheevers for sure
Andy Moog's Boston Bruins mask. That bear head looked much better than all the subsequent animal head masks: detailed and truely intimidating.
Gerry Cheevers. Bruins goaltender. Before all this fancy air-brushed crap. Every time he took a puck in the face, he had more stitches painted on.

This is what hockey is about:

Ed Balfour's eagle mask!!
i like marty biron's new one with the rocky balboa statue on it.

i love marty brodeur's..very simple..yet famous....he has his childrens initials on the back (3 kids..1 girl two boys) which he kisses before every game, and he has the years he won the cup...
I like Henrik Lundqvist's, truthfully.
For looks I really like Cam Ward's new one- the red with the battleship North Carolina on one side and the lighthouse on the other, both lighting up a hurricanes logo.
Jacques Plante -- the Original!
Gary ';The Cobra'; Simmons - California Seals.

I like the old school masks the best. Most of today's are too busy to make out what is actually going on with the paint job without sitting down or seeing close up photographs.

Some of my favorites:

Cheevers' stitches is hands down the best classic mask.

Both Brodeur and Richter's masks still fall into that classic category.

My favorite ';new school'; mask is Jeff Hackett's Flyers mask. It features the 3 greatest goaltenders in Flyers history, Parent, Lindbergh and Hextall.

The link I provided has some cool original masks done for pro's and amateurs by a mask painter in Philly who did the swiss cheese design for my mask. If you are a goalie mask fan check out some of the pictures.
Cujo Has A Cool Mask With The Wolves

Ron Tugnutt Had Beer On His

Kiprusoff And Turek Had Awsome Masks

Turcos Is Pretty Cool Too

And Of Course The Statue Of Liberty On Mike Richter
I think Dominak Hasek has the best helmet , because i like the old school helmets!
Richter's Liberty Mask
I'm glad he's no longer the Sens goalie, but Patrick Lalime. I love Marvin the Martian. Mainly though it's just that there's two gigantic eyeballs on top of his mask. No compelling argument I just think it looks cool.
The best ever/coolest goalie mask I've ever saw was one that I mounted up at work (EA Sports) in our sports bar.

It was one of the newest types that encompassed the entire head and the graphics were red/white/blue flames along the back and bottom sides and EA Sports logos on each side of the mask.

It was just for promotional purposes and not for any specific team.
Marty Brodeur!!!

Hes Never changed his helmet the day he entered the leaugue!!!, hes used the same exact one!!!
I always liked CuJo's ';Wolf';, Eddie's ';Eagle';, Nikolai's ';The 'Bulin Wall';, Patrick Lalime's ';Marvin the Martian';, and Felix ';The Cat'; Potvin's masks.
In my opinion I think Martin Brodeur's mask is the coolest and the thoughtfulest because he actually put his children's initial on the back of his mask!
Jason's - from Friday the 13th!
It's not an NHL mask, but I like this Family Guy one! (Click on the source to see it!)

In the NHL, I like Brodeur's. It's plain, but cool. He's got his kids initials on it.
Anything that Grant Fuhr had. It might not compare to what is out there now, but for his time, he was an original. I think he inspired some of the designs we see today.
I like the Cheevers mask with the stitch marks for every time he took one in the gord. Simple and true to the sport.
Anything with Sabre Blue and Gold!
Gilles Meloche's Cleveland Barons mask, Gary Simmon's ';Cobra'; or Gilles Gratton's Lion/Werewolf
birons new one is pretty cool but the backup for buffalos is amazing it has the coolest designs and of course millers ';its miller time'; is written on the back (millers helmet)
